O PRÍNCIPE TEIÚ E AS VÁRIAS VERSÕES DOS CONTOS TRADICIONAIS/POPULARES ENTRE DIFERENTES CULTURAS: O CONTO MARAVILHOSO
This article aims to present a study on two versions of traditional folk tales, trying to understand how some of them have similar plots even in places kilometers away. One of the roles of oral tradition is to propagate and not allow such cultural manifestations to fall into oblivion, taking Beauty and the Beast, by Madame Beaumont, as na example of a dissemination instrument, or collecting typically regional tales such as Branca Flor/Prince Teiu, in the short stories collected by professor Marco Haurélio and being compiled in a very rich source for na entire Generation to have access to, which we study.
