Solar-Powered Unit with Novel Reversible Inversion for Sustainable Electrocoagulation

This paper focuses on electrocoagulation with a significant and environmentally conscious effort aimed at tackling the escalating issue of wastewater pollution. Utilizing electrocoagulation, an electrochemical process, this initiative effectively eliminates a diverse range of contaminants and impurities present in both industrial and municipal wastewater streams. By inducing controlled electrical reactions, metal ions are produced within the wastewater, serving as coagulants that facilitate the aggregation and precipitation of pollutants. This innovative approach excels particularly in the removal of challenging substances such as heavy metals, suspended solids, and organic compounds. The core objectives of this project revolve around enhancing water quality, mitigating the environmental repercussions of wastewater discharge, and fostering sustainable water management practices. Electrocoagulation presents a cost-efficient and environmentally friendly alternative to conventional wastewater treatment methods, minimizing reliance on chemical additives and mitigating the release of harmful substances into natural water ecosystems. This endeavour holds immense promise for a broad spectrum of industries, municipalities, and water treatment facilities seeking adaptable and efficient solutions for wastewater treatment. Through the adoption of electrocoagulation, our aim is to elevate water quality standards, bolster the environmental resilience of our communities, and advocate for sustainable approaches to wastewater treatment.
