Numerical and Polynomial Synthetic Division with Negative Digits

It is possible to apply the synthetic division algorithm to both polynomials and numbers. Upon examination of Vedic division and the extended form of synthetic division, the author discovered that numerical synthetic division can be implemented and other applications to polynomials including verifying complex solutions and multivariable polynomial division. Vedic mathematics is also defined as including negative digits.

Abstract

It is possible to apply the synthetic division algorithm to both polynomials and numbers. Upon examination of Vedic division and the extended form of synthetic division, the author discovered that numerical synthetic division can be implemented and other applications to polynomials including verifying complex solutions and multivariable polynomial division. Vedic mathematics is also defined as including negative digits.
