RIS and UAV Aided Spatial Modulation for 6G Telecommunication Systems
A paradigm shift in wireless communication is expected with the advent of 6G communications networks, which would need the development of innovative technologies for ultra-reliable, low-latency communication to support massive device connection. This study presents a novel method for 6G communication networks, which integrates the use of Unmanned Aerial Vehicles (UAVs) and Reconfigurable Intelligent Surfaces (RIS) with the Spatial Modulation (SM) architecture. The ultimate goal of the proposed 6G system's RIS and UAV-Aided spatial modulation is to increase communication's bit error rate (BER) and spectrum efficiency. In order to optimize signal propagation in UAVs acting as mobile communication nodes, RIS is positioned strategically in this strategy. Data bits are modulated into spatial symbols to activate certain RIS elements and UAV configurations. The study looks at how real-world issues like erroneous channel estimates affect RIS and UAV communication lines. Through thorough simulations and theoretical validation, the proposed system is assessed in terms of its BER and spectrum efficiency, indicating its superiority over traditional communication systems. The results show that RIS and UAV integration may enhance 6G communication systems' capabilities.
