Experimental and Numerical Simulation Studies Based on the Active Regulation Mechanism of Carbon Stripper
Incorporating a carbon stripper can effectively improve carbon capture efficiency in a solid fuel chemical looping combustion system. This study designs an active regulation method coupled with the previous carbon stripper, with the aim of adapting it to the separation requirements under different operating conditions. The effects of the longitudinal position, air flow, transverse position, and intake direction of the active air on the separation efficiencies of binary particles in the carbon stripper are first investigated. At the same time, the operation characteristics under high-flux conditions are explored with the unimproved carbon stripper. Finally, effective separation and flexible regulation are achieved with the active regulation carbon stripper under a high-flux condition of 200 kg/(m2·s).
