In this study, the causal relationships between work-life balance, job satisfaction, and presenteeism as perceived by MICE employees working in Busan were investigated, and implications were derived. The study aimed to present a plan for achieving sustainable growth through the practical application of the MICE industry as well as academic development. Therefore, the study was conducted based on a survey of MICE employees working in Busan to investigate these causal relationships, and the following results were obtained. First, the research results indicated that the sub-factors of work-life balance―work-growth balance, work-leisure balance, and work-family balance―all had a significant positive effect on job satisfaction. Second, it was found that work-leisure balance and work-family balance, which are sub-factors of work-life balance, had a significant negative effect on presenteeism. Third, job satisfaction was found to have a significant negative effect on presenteeism.
