This article develops a comparative study of the publications on the official X social network profiles of congressmen Nikolas Ferreira and Magno Malta, which occurred during October 2022 and expressly mention the terms: God; faith; church; Christ; Jesus; Christian(s); prayer; Bible. The analysis aimed to understand how religious themes and representations were used during the second-round campaign of that year's election on social media by ultra-conservative activists. It is noteworthy that the choice of X as a data source was not accidental. Despite being less used in Brazil compared to networks like Instagram or Facebook, it is notorious both for the engagement of its members and its ability to create "viral" images and texts capable of shaping the debate on other networks. The qualitative analysis conducted here of the textual, imagistic, and audiovisual contents of the two mentioned profiles on the platform presented curious results. It was observed not only a high recurrence of the use of the terms but also a similarity in the content of the messages in which they appeared. It was noted that the digital communication strategies employed by the two profiles often presented anti-system representations and imaginaries. The data processing for the analysis was conducted using the IRAMUTEQ program, which was also used to create a word cloud and two similarity graphs, which synthesized the research results.
