The Effect Of 12-week Resistance Training On College Students Of Irregular Exercise With Different Genotypes Of Actn3 Rs1815739

PURPOSE: This study is to explore the effect of 12-week resistance training on college students of irregular exercise with different genotypes of ACTN3 rs1815739. METHODS: College students exercised irregularly were recruited, venous blood was collected to extract the DNA for detecting the polymorphism of ACTN3 rs1815739. According to the genotyping results, the subjects divided into CC group, CT group and TT group (30/group). Moderate-intensity strength training (MIST) was intervened for 12 weeks. The maximum strength, power and body composition indexes were tested before and after intervention. RESULTS:(1) The squats and bench press of the three groups were significantly improved (squats, CC:72.5 vs 106.5, CT:60.0 vs 100.0, TT:70.0 vs 119.5, P < 0.01; bench press, CC:32.5 vs 45.0, CT:27.5 vs 42.0, TT:26.0 vs 46.0, P < 0.01, kg) after intervention. The maximum vertical jump height of subjects in CT group (30.7 vs 35.6, cm, P < 0.05) and TT group (28.9 vs 33.6, cm, P < 0.05) increased significantly, rPmax of subjects in CT group increased significantly (20.1 vs 23.2, P < 0.01), and the relative vertical jump strength of subjects in CT group (2.1 vs 2.3, P < 0.01) and TT group (2.1 vs 2.4, P < 0.01) increased significantly. Fat% in CT group (27.3 vs 26.1, P < 0.01) and TT group (28.1 vs 27.9, P < 0.01) decreased significantly, FM in CT group decreased significantly (16.7 vs 16.1, kg, P < 0.05), and SMM in all three groups increased significantly (CC: 43.3 vs 44.9, CT: 39.4 vs 40.3, TT: 38.0 vs 38.8, kg, P < 0.01), but there was no significant difference in BMC (P > 0.05), and the weight of all three groups increased significantly (CC: 59.7 vs 61.7, CT: 59.3 vs 59.4, TT: 60.6 vs 61.4, kg, P < 0.05). (2) After intervention, there was a significant difference in Δ1RM%(squat) among the three groups (CC: 50.1, CT: 62.9, TT: 55.6, %, P < 0.05), especially in CT group. ΔrPmax of CT group was significantly higher than CC group and TT group (18.9 vs -5.0, P < 0.05). There was no significant difference in Δfat%, ΔFM, ΔSMM, ΔBMC, ΔBW and ΔWHR among the three groups. CONCLUSIONS: The effect of 12-week resistance training on college students of irregular exercise with different genotypes of ACTN3 rs1815739 was different, subjects with CT genotype may be more effective after training. 2018YFC2000602
