Effects Of Acute Exercise In Runners With Exercise-induced Hyperextension On Oxidative Stress Parameters, And NT-probnp
PURPOSE: The purpose of this research is to investigate changes in oxidative stress, antioxidant power, antioxidant enzyme, vascular dilatation, inflammatory status, and myocardial burden marker before and after acute exercise in runners with EIH. METHODS: Through the maximum exercise load test, we divided into normal blood pressure group (NBPG, n = 23, 57.2 ± 6.7 yrs), which has blood pressure < 140/90 mmHg at rest and systolic blood pressure < 210 mmHg when maximal exercise, and the exercise-induced hypertension group (EIHG, n = 14, 59.4 ± 6.2), which has blood pressure < 140/90 mmHg at rest and systolic blood pressure ≥ 210 mmHg when maximal exercise. They ran at an intensity of 80% HRR for 30 minutes immediately after completing the exercise load. We analyzed before and after exercise hs-CRP (high sensitivity C-reactive protein), d-ROM (diacron reactive oxygen metabolites), BAP (biological antioxidant potential), SOD (superoxide dismutase), NO (nitric oxide), and NT-proBNP (n -terminal peptide pro-brain natriuretic peptide). RESULTS: In hs-CRP, d-ROMs, and BAP, there was no interaction effect between the two groups before and after exercise, but in NO, SOD, and NT-proBNP (p < .05). Among all blood items at rest, hs-CRP was positively correlated with RSBP (rest systolic blood pressure), RDBP (rest diastolic blood pressure), MSBP (maximal systolic blood pressure), MDBP (maximal diastolic blood pressure), and MRPP (maximal rate pressure product), respectively (p < .05), and SOD was a positive correlation with MSBP and MRPP (p < .05). CONCLUSION: Acute exercise in long-distance middle-aged runners with EIH increased myocardial burden markers and expressed high SOD due to increased blood pressure due to vasodilation disorders, and the SOD level at rest was higher for runners with higher myocardial burden during maximum exercise.
