Development and Evaluation of Mechanical Properties of AL6061 Based Hybrid Nano Composites Reinforced with Al2O3 and ZrO2
MMC usage is rising in popularity right now. Studying the advantages of the Aluminum 6061 alloys reinforced with Al2O3 and ZrO2 is the main goal of this work, which is finished using a stir-casting setup. With the use of a computerized universal testing machine, the MMCs' compressive and tensile tests were conducted. The experimental findings revealed that adding Al2O3 as a uniform 2.5% as well as increasing ZrO2 by 1, 2, 3, and 4% increased the compressive and tensile strength.
