A TECNOLOGIA ASSISTIVA NA INCLUSÃO DE ALUNOS COM DEFICIÊNCIA NO AMBIENTE ESCOLAR: UMA REVISÃO SISTEMÁTICA

Given the growing number of students with disabilities present in schools today, inclusion needs to be something real and concrete. For this, one of the fundamentally important tools for achieving an inclusive act is Assistive Technology (AT). The present study developed a Systematic Literature Review (RSL) with the aim of investigating the contributions, the most used resources, the difficulties and the frequency of use of Assistive Technology in the development and inclusion of students with disabilities in the educational environment. To this end, an analysis of selected studies was carried out over a period of one decade: 2012 to 2021 in the Eric, IEEE Xplore and Scopus databases. 501studies were found and at the end of the filtering process, which used inclusion and exclusion criteria, 15 works were selected. The analysis of the selected studies revealed that the use of AT is necessary in the process of inclusion of students with disabilities, as it allows students to be more autonomous and achieve success in the learning process. However, barriers still persist regarding the high value of these tools, leading teachers to use low-technology resources as alternatives, due to their more affordable cost, easy use and lack of specific training. Furthermore, the lack of teacher training for the dissemination of knowledge and the constant practice of using AT with students with disabilities was highlighted.
