Pengenalan dan Pemanfaatan Tanaman Obat Keluarga (TOGA) Untuk Kesehatan
Family Medicinal Plants (TOGA) are plants that are used to meet family health needs traditionally. This research aims to inventory the types of TOGA that are known and used by the community, as well as assessing their development potential. The research was conducted in the Nangka Bugang area, Pasuluhan sub-district using survey, observation and in-depth interview methods. People use TOGA to treat minor illnesses, increase body resistance, and prevent disease. Knowledge of using TOGA is generally passed down from generation to generation, but there is a decline in interest among the younger generation. TOGA has great potential to be developed, both in terms of utilization and conservation. Efforts that can be made include increasing public knowledge and awareness, developing TOGA cultivation, optimal and sustainable development of TOGA that can contribute to public health, the economy and the environment.
