A novel design scheme of small intelligent fire extinguisher based on unconscious design method

With the continuous strengthening of the public awareness of firefighting, equipped with fire extinguishers is one of the important ways of indoor firefighting and family safety. The appearance design and function of the existing fire extinguishers are relatively simple, and the operation is more complex. In this paper, based on the theory of unconscious design, we deeply explore the influence of unconscious behavior on design methods, and propose a novel design scheme through case analysis. First, the common environment of the fire in the home was included as the study subjects, and the unconscious behavior of the used objects in the fire site was analyzed in detail based on the collected cases. Second, by analyzing the meaning and motivation of the unconscious behavior, the function of the existing fire extinguisher is redefined. Finally, we make innovative design from the aspects of material, appearance, function and intelligence. The designed small fire extinguisher has the characteristics of durable, beautiful and easy to operate.
