The construction of the museum audience data system based on big data technology

As the public’s demand for cultural services grows, the surge in museum audience data offers opportunities for a deeper understanding of visitor needs. However, traditional management methods are faced with issues such as data dispersion and low analysis efficiency. This paper analyzes the application of big data technology in museums and points out the shortcomings of existing technologies, such as limitations in technical resources, insufficient real-time data processing capabilities, and the need for improvement in the data service system. Taking the Palace Museum as a case study, the paper demonstrates how a lightweight big data construction plan addresses the technical selection, funding, and professionalism issues in data construction. Through the “cloud data platform & low-code user interaction” approach, the Palace Museum has achieved efficient management and utilization of data. The article also discusses the construction of a audience big data system, data security and privacy protection, data analysis, and the application of digital twin technology in enhancing museum management efficiency and visitor experience.
