Experiment Design for Investigating the Effectiveness of Accelerated Video Learning Based on Brain Imaging Evidence
Educational video plays a significant role in spreading scientific and cultural knowledge due to its unique advantages of audio-visual combination. Optimizing the learning effect of video has become an important application direction of audio-visual intelligence in the field of education. As an important attribute of educational videos, video playback speed is often considered by students as an effective strategy for knowledge learning. In this context, the influence of learner characteristics on the efficacy of accelerated video learning has not yet been comprehensively investigated. Based on this research deficiency, we proposes research ideas and methods based on brain imaging evidence from an interdisciplinary perspective, aiming to enrich our understanding of individual differences of learners and provide a new theoretical perspective for the field of educational psychology by studying how learner characteristics affect the process and outcome of video learning. It also provides guidance for online learning platforms to help design smarter and more adaptable learning tools to meet the individual needs of different students.
