An End-to-end Audiovisual Program Translation System for Multiple Languages

With the rapid development of China’s “Belt and Road” initiative, audio-visual programs have become crucial for cultural dissemination and value guidance. As an essential bridge for Chinese communication domestically and internationally, there is a pressing need for more high-quality translation works and services. The traditional translation methods involve long cycles and high costs, which impede the timeliness and dissemination of videos. This paper proposes an end-to-end automatic program translation system for multiple languages. It utilizes several AI intelligent translation technologies, including automatic speech recognition, audio segmentation, text translation, and speech synthesis to develop AI models and algorithms that can quickly and automatically convert audiovisual content into various languages. This initiative aims to overcome language barriers, enhance translation efficiency and quality, foster ethnic and international exchanges, and create a distinctive communication brand for cultural and informational dissemination.
