MTT-S Is the Global and Inclusive Microwave Community [President's Column]

The motto I selected for the IEEE Microwave Theory and Technology Society (MTT-S) this year is “Let’s make the MTT-S a more inclusive community,” as stated in the January issue of this “President’s Column” <xref ref-type="bibr" rid="ref1" xmlns:mml="http://www.w3.org/1998/Math/MathML" xmlns:xlink="http://www.w3.org/1999/xlink">[1]</xref>. This motto reflects the Society’s commitment to removing all barriers that may hinder active participation in the many activities of the Society. We strive to become the microwave community that welcomes everybody, regardless of gender, age, geographical location, or any other characteristic.
