COMPARAÇÃO ENTRE OS MÉTODOS RPG, PILATES E CINESIOTERAPIA PARA ESCLARECIMENTO DA EFICÁCIA NO TRATAMENTO DE PACIENTES COM ESCOLIOSE IDIOPÁTICA DO ADOLESCENTE: REVISÃO INTEGRATIVA DA LITERATURA

The research was conducted from August to September 2024. The study selection process initially involved searching through topics and abstracts; after that, the content was reviewed. Inclusion criteria used were: full-text articles from the last 5 years, studies involving both sexes, focusing on scoliosis and related treatments, and examining efficacy or lack thereof, while excluding duplicates, irrelevant topics, and projects not within the specified time frame. The results from the selected studies provided numerous constructive insights into scoliosis and ongoing research. Benefits noted included improvements in pain, reduction in the Cobb angle, enhanced mobility, strength, and flexibility of the patient, contributing to better core development. Furthermore, all the reviewed works clearly indicate that the lack of evidence leads to significant misinformation and complications in treatment. Therefore, the studies highlight the lack of in-depth articles and the obscured scenario created by this lack of content regarding the complex pathology and the techniques used for treating these patients, thus underscoring the need for more comprehensive and detailed research to strengthen the evidence base.
