Processing-structure-property relationships in BF-BT ceramics

Ferroelectric ceramics are polycrystalline materials that undergo polarization switching due to domain reorientation and produce hysteresis in the polarization and strain-electric field relationships when its strength is greater than the coercive forceEC . The purpose of the project is to explore the relationship between the processing-structure-performance of BF-BT ceramics. Through the analysis of SEM, XRD, dielectric properties, ferroelectric properties, and piezoelectric properties, heat treatment will cause changes in the crystal structure, microstructure, and ferroelectric/piezoelectric properties of the BF-BT ceramic material.
