XIV CENTURY TREATIES: THE CATEGORY OF ABSTRACTION
The article presents the characteristics of the means of representing the category of abstraction in contracts concluded between Moscow, Tver, etc. The princes in the XIV century defined the features of the use of abstract nouns, stable verbal combinations, verb forms with a generalizing meaning, nominal predicates, passive constructions and impersonal sentences.
