PROPOSAL FOR THE USE OF MORINGA OLEIFERA SEED EXTRACT AS A COAGULANT IN THE TREATMENT OF DRINKING WATER

ABSTRACT The present work aims to propose the use of Moringa Oleifera seed extract as a coagulant in water treatment, taking as a reference its efficiency in removing turbidity compared to the use of aluminum sulphate coagulant. The Moringa Oleifera coagulant is easy to acquire and use and when prepared in an optimized way, it complies with the recommended water potability standards.
