Ibn Rushd's argument on the relationship between freedom and necessity
The article examines the deterministic relationship between the concepts of freedom and necessity of Ibn Rushd, a major figure in medieval Arab-Muslim philosophy. His point of view is highlighted on the basis of denial, criticism and refutation of the opinions of the thinker's contemporaries.
