POTENCIALIDADES E DESAFIOS DA VISITA TÉCNICA NO ENSINO MÉDIO INTEGRADO
The technical visit is a didactic and pedagogical resource that brings the student closer to the job market, enabling the visualization of issues discussed in theory in daily practice. However, there is a certain lack of information on the subject of integrated high school (IHS) offered at Federal Institutes. Thus, this study aimed to understand the potential and challenges that the technical visit presents from the perspective of teachers at the Federal Institute of Mato Grosso of South (IFMS) Campus Coxim. The research had a qualitative approach with the application of questionnaires to the professors of the IFMS Campus Coxim, with an invitation sent via e-mail to the entire faculty of this unit, explaining the characteristics and objectives of the research. Regarding the participation of professors, twenty-nine (29) questionnaires were returned. Among the respondents, thirteen (13) had already participated in a technical visit with IHS students. The professors who participated in technical visits pointed out that the visit contributes to the education of students and has enormous potential to combine theory applied in the classroom with practical experience in external environments, promoting integrality in their human formation, recognizing the professional reality and expanding their horizons in other areas that are explored during the visitation. However, even with this understanding, there were reports emphasizing that the execution is tiring and very laborious due to the bureaucratic aspects involved in the activity planning. Therefore, an institutional challenge to be discussed.
