Vietnam’s Environmental Protection Law has institutionalized the sustainable development principle over the years. However, nearly 30 years of implementation reveal that resources have often been misused, negatively impacting both current and future generations. This article analyzes Vietnam’s environmental law on sustainable development and proposes improvements for more effective implementation.
