In this article, the author analyzes and explains the legal aspects of regulations on restricting the rights of parents towards minor children based on the provisions of the 2014 Law on Marriage and Family. Specifically, the author approaches from three aspects, including: (i) basis for restricting the rights of parents towards minor children; (ii) duration of restriction of rights of parents towards minor children; and (iii) the effect of restricting the rights of parents towards minor children. Then, the article provides recommendations to improve the legal provisions on restricting the rights of parents towards minor children to protect the rights of minor children.
