ASSESSMENT OF SPATIO-TEMPORAL CHANGES IN NDVI AND NDWI INDEX VALUES IN AREAS OF RARE PLANT SPECIES OF RA

Geoinformation systems and remote sensing technologies provide a great opportunity to analyze environmental processes on a local or global scale. The research was carried out to consider the conservation of Biodiversity and the sustainable use of land and water resources, taking into account the vulnerability of climate change. Sentinel 2 satellite images, which are suitable for land cover mapping and change monitoring due to their resolution, were used. In the course of this study, the spatiotemporal changes of two spectral indices (NDVI, NDWI) were studied in order to develop and maintain sustainable biodiversity and ensure a normal living environment. The values of the spectral indices, their differences and the patterns of changes in ratios in the distribution areas of rare plant species were studied. Based on a digital model of the relief of RA, using Sentinel 2 satellite images, for the first time, Allium woronowii Miscz. ex Grossh., Inula acaulis Schott & Kotschy ex Boiss., Draba araratica Rupr., Scleranthus perennis L., Primula amoena M. Abstract

Bieb., Acanthus dioscoridis. the coordinates of rare plant species have been juxtaposed on the NDVI, NDWI maps, with the aim of revealing the effect of the quantitative change in the values of the above-mentioned integral indices on the distribution areas of plants.
