Formación ciudadana mediante la institucionalización del Aprendizaje-Servicio.

The methodology of Service Learning plays a crucial role in the University Educational Model (MEU) at the Universidad Autónoma de Querétaro (UAQ). Recently, it has gained greater relevance due to a modification made in 2023, highlighting that Service Learning contributes to high-quality academic formation, as well as the development of an active citizenship and university social responsibility. Since this methodology is still in the process of institutionalization, this article aims to support the importance of its integration. It focuses on the comprehensive training of graduating professionals, as well as the preparation of citizens committed to values and life skills, who will play an active role in society. In summary, the institutionalization of Service Learning not only enriches the educational experience but also contributes to the construction of a socially responsible university community dedicated to collective well-being.
