Análisis factorial exploratorio de un instrumento de medición de la percepción de exclusión social en estudiantes de bachillerato
This paper presents the results of reliability and validity analysis, as well as the exploratory and confirmatory factor analyses carried out on an instrument for measuring the perception of social exclusion in the adolescent student population at the upper secondary level, also known as “senior high”. The purpose was to observe to what extent said instrument yielded results suitable for its use in research on the topic, for which purpose it is briefly presented what social exclusion consists of and what theoretical background sustains it. The results related to the validation of the instrument, such as the difficulty index, the discrimination coefficient, the communalities, and the exploratory and confirmatory factor analysis indicate that the questionnaire is solid and usable for the measurement of the perception of social exclusion in the aforementioned school population.
