Een ecosystemische netwerkbenadering

The article describes the outcomes of a pilot project in which the authors developed and assessed a method that aims at breaking the intergenerational transference of criminality and violence. The National Outreach Team (LOT), which is part of the Centre for Crime Prevention and Safety (CCV) in the Netherlands, developed the method on the instructions of the Ministry of Justice and Security. LOT aims at helping professionals `to intervene safely in concerted cooperation’ in order to – if possible – prevent exploitation of minors in `criminal family networks’, to reduce their criminal activities and by doing so enhance their chances of a secure future.
