Dimensão comunicacional em práticas culturais nas Comunidades Eclesiais de Base (CEBs) em Mato Grosso, Brasil
Cultural practices, such as meaning production and social bonding, highlight the communicational dimension in the daily life of base ecclesiastical communities (CEBs) in Mato Grosso, a state in Midwest Brazil. The communication as culture study model considers communication as a language structure and a social process and mainly aims to understand the expressiveness in the activities carried out by religious practitioners within the community scope of the CEBs, which corresponds to an existing Christian way of being (especially in Catholicism). This qualitative, inductive-deductive, and interpretative study lies at the interface between communication and culture (notably cultural anthropology), using multi-sited ethnography associated with autoethnography, promoting participant observation with field notebook notes and photographic records.
