Analysis of the topic type and interest of YouTube content of public sports institutions : Focusing on the YouTube channel of the Korean sport and olympic committee

The purpose of this study is to analyze the subject type and interest of YouTube content of public sports institutions. The entire video posted on the YouTube channel of the Korea Sports Council was selected for analysis. Using the Python 3.7 program, the title, keywords, summary, and views of the entire video were collected and topic modeling analysis was conducted. As a result of the analysis, five subject types were derived: &quothome training&quot, &quotdomestic sports competition&quot, &quotsports entertainment&quot, &quotinternational sports competition&quot, and &quotsports promotion project and information&quot. As a result of analyzing the degree of interest by subject type, the interest in the contents of &quotsports entertainment&quot was the highest, followed by &quotinternational sports competition&quot, &quothome training&quot, &quotsports promotion project and information&quot, and &quotdomestic sports competition&quot.
