Etnozoologi Arthropoda Pada Masyarakat Desa Patokpicis, Kecamatan Wajak, Kabupaten Malang

Patokpicis is one of the villages in Wajak District, Malang Regency where the people work as coffe farmers. There has never been an exploration of the biological fauna resources found in coffe plantations. The purpose of this study was to explore community knowledge about the utilization of arthropods in Patokpicis Village. This research was conducted from November 2022 to February 2023 in Patokpicis Village, Wajak District, Malang Regency. The research method is descriptive qualitative, quantitative, through surveys and interviews using questionnaires with random sampling techniques and for the selection of respondents using random sampling techniques. Data analysis used UVis values or species use values. The results of the knowledge of 100 respondents who were interviewed about the use of arthropods in coffee plantations in Patokpicis Village, Wajak District, Malang Regency there were 3 arthropods namely grasshoppers, crickets and weaver ants which were used as bird food and chicken food.ABSTRAKPatokpicis merupakan salah satu Desa di Kecamatan Wajak, Kabupaten Malang yang masyarakatnya bekerja sebagai petani kopi. Belum pernah dilakukan eksplorasi sumber daya hayati fauna yang terdapat di perkebunan kopi. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengeksplorasi pengetahuan masyarakat tentang pemanfaatan arthropoda di Desa patokpicis. Penelitian ini dilaksanakan pada bulan november 2022 sampai februari 2023 di Desa Patokpicis, Kecamatan Wajak, Kabupaten Malang. Metode penelitian deskriptif kualitatif, kuantitatif, melalui survei dan wawancara menggunakan kuesioner dengan teknik random sampling serta untuk pemilihan responden dengan teknik random sampling. Analisis data menggunakan nilai UVis atau nilai guna spesies. Hasil pengetahuan 100 responden yang diwawancarai tentang pemanfaatan arthropoda di Desa Patokpicis, Kecamatan Wajak, Kabupaten Malang terdapat 3 arthropoda yaitu belalang, jangkrik dan semut rang-rang yang digunakan sebagai makanan burung dan makanan ayam.
