THE GEOECOLOGICAL SITUATION IN THE CITY OF IRKUTSK RELATED TO THE USE OF DEICING REAGENTS LOPATOVSKAYA O.G.

The article presents the results of research of soil salinization in the city of Irkutsk. Based on our own observations, we show the effect of de-icing materials on soil and snow in different areas of the city. The salt content in natural objects has been determined. An assessment of the anthropogenic load on soils and other objects is given, and its consequences are shown. It has been shown that the use of deicing reagents affects the environment. It was revealed that the largest areas of saline soils in the city are located near highways. It is determined that the natural soils have changed to saline ones - solonetz and salt marsh soil (solonchak). Soil salinization is sulfate-chloride calcium-sodium. Sulfates, chlorides, sodium, calcium and magnesium were detected in the maximum amount in the snow water.
