COMPLEX LOW-ALTITUDE UAV GEOPHYSICAL SURVEY APPLICATION FOR MEDIUM-SCALE GEOLOGICAL MAPS OBJECTIVIZATION
The research subject is the assessment of the admissibility of using complex low-altitude unmanned aerial (UAV) geophysical survey data as minimum sufficient source for geological maps objectification. Project site is the gold prospect of Sukhoi Log (or black-shale) style in Bodaibo District, Irkutsk Region, Russia, which determines the conclusion validation. The chosen problem is quite widespread and involves incomplete level of detail and reliability of existing geological maps. So it was decided to clarify geological situation by UAV magnetic and gamma-ray survey. It is shown that as a result of interpretation of referred data, regional geology knowledge and rocks physical properties contrast it became possible to create a new geological map. It is concluded, that express and inexpensive methodic is useful for specifying the position of geological and prospective ore-bearing local structures of the studied site, as well as for similar licensed areas nearby and other parts of Bodaibo synclinorium.
