PROSPECTS OF OIL AND GAS POTENTIAL OF THE SINSK SUBSOIL AREA

The information on the geological structure and tectonic position of the Sinsky subsurface area is briefly presented. The existing estimate of the density of the initial geological hydrocarbon resources of the site area is given. Based on the published data, three sediment complexes have been identified as the most promising: terrigenous Vendian, carbonate Vendian and carbonate Cambrian. The productivity of the terrigenous part of the section is justified by the forecast of the zone of improved reservoirs and the absence of a belt of dikes on the way of transit of petroleum hydrocarbons from the deep parts of the Aldan anteclise and Vilyui syneclise. An assumption is made about the possible development of collectors of analogues of the Preobrazhensky horizon within the studied area. The main object of oil and gas exploration is the Cambrian Inican formation enriched with organic matter. The Inican formation, according to seismic surveys within the area under consideration, falls to depths corresponding to the main oil formation zone. The necessity of drilling a parametric well was noted in order to clarify the structural plan and search for oil and gas deposits.
