PROCESSES OF FORMATION OF HIGH-CONTRAST ANOMALIES IN RIVER BOTTOM SEDIMENTS IN THE TERRITORY WITH BACKGROUND CONTENT OF ELEMENTS IN SOIL
Geochemical surveys on a scale of 1:200000 on the southeastern rim of the Anabar Shield revealed high-contrast extended scattering streams of titanium, iron, vanadium, niobium and other elements with the content of elements by an order of magnitude or more exceeding their content in the eluvio-deluvial formations on the banks of adjacent river slopes. In some parts of the riverbed with the length of more than 20 km, the content of titanium dioxide in bottom sediments reaches 30% with the value of geochemical background of alluvium equal to less than 1%. The model of migration of mineral particles in bottom sediments allowed estimating the values of parameters characterizing the rates of arrival of loose formations from river banks and their subsequent movement along the channel, as well as the rates of accumulation of heavy and mechanically stable mineral particles in bottom sediments. These data make it possible to establish the proportionality coefficients between the productivity of ore elements in the dispersion streams and secondary halos on the coastal slopes. This information is necessary for estimation of inferred mineral resources.
