SOIL NEW FORMATIONS OF POST-TECHNOGENIC TERRITORIES
In modern conditions, soil new formation are a marker of technogenic impact, so now we are faced with the need to introduce a group of technogenic soil neoplasms. In the course of many years of research into the geoecological situation in regions where mining of minerals from the depths of Yakutia is intensively carried out, the formation of various crusts, deposits and efflorescence on the surface of the soil cover was revealed. Analysis of the mineralogical composition of technogenic surface new formations revealed that, regardless of their forms and properties, gypsum is always present, dense crusts with polygonal fracturing necessarily contain montmorillonite, or a mixed-layer mineral of the mica-montmorillonite type; iron hydroxides dominate in the composition of deposits and dense films.
