Land disputes are a common phenomenon occurring in social life. In particular, since land use rights are considered goods, land disputes are becoming increasingly complicated. In the process of implementing the plan to change the Land Law, the Draft Land Law (amended) has a number of new contents related to land dispute resolution that are worth noting. However, according to the new Land Law 2024 just passed by the National Assembly on January 18, 2024 (effective from January 1, 2025), this issue has almost nothing new compared to the provisions of the current Land Law 2013. Therefore, this article will analyze and evaluate current legal provisions related to land disputes, such as: concepts of land disputes, authority, procedures for resolving land disputes, guidelines for resolving land disputes, in order to contribute to perfecting the law on resolving land disputes in the coming time.
