The article examines the problem of the formation of patriotism based on the study of the discipline "Cultural studies", differentiates approaches to the formation of citizenship and patriotism. The emphasis is placed on the peculiarities of the selection of didactic material and tasks for working with it in the aspect of forming a patriotic worldview. The article provides examples of questions and texts created by students.
