Preliminary Study on Chinese Stylistic Constructions and Resource Development*
Stylistic resources are critical for understanding and generating language with specific styles and emotions, thereby advancing natural language processing applications. Currently, stylistic resources are inadequate. This study, from the perspective of stylistic constructions, has constructed parallel resources of stylistic constructions to enrich these resources and meet the needs of natural language processing. This research demonstrates the existence of stylistic constructions, which are conventionalized form-meaning pairs expressing stylistic functions. Through the establishment of norms and annotation practices, this study attempts to build parallel stylistic construction resources based on stylistic constructions, ultimately obtaining 5233 pairs of parallel constructions containing information such as parts of speech, prosody, and example sentences, and initially analyzes these construction data.
