The Status Quo of English Study Engagement within Smart Classroom Environments and the Pathways of Enhancement

The implementation of smart classrooms within the context of educational informatization presents both practical challenges and opportunities for revitalizing English language instruction. To address non-engaged behaviors among middle school students, such as distraction and disengagement from learning objectives, this paper investigates the status quo of study engagement through a questionnaire. From the perspective of educators, specific pathways are proposed to enhance middle school students' study engagement within smart classroom environments.
