Advances in Fabrication Site HSE Management Through IOGP 577 Framework

Abstract This paper provides an overview of the evolution of Fabrication Site HSE Management in Shell Deepwater projects through the adoption of the fabrication contractor HSE management approach, based on the contractor’s own HSE Management System and the International Oil and Gas Producers (IOGP) Association Fabrication Site Construction Safety Practices, while also supported by the Shell site team as a trusted partner. The paper also offers insight into applying the digital Safety Reporting and Observation (SOAR) tool and SOAR score as an effective leading indicator to measure safety performance.
