THE AGRARIAN TERROR OF THE SOCIALIST-REVOLUTIONARIES-MAXIMALISTS: ESSENCE AND PRACTICE

The article analyzes the activities of the Socialist-Revolutionary maximalist party, their origins, methods of activity and ideology. The definition of the term "agrarian terror" and approaches to its interpretation are considered. The manifestations of agrarian terror during the first Russian Revolution and its ideological justification in the writings of SSRM figures are investigated. Special attention is paid to the actions of maximalists and the opposition to them by the police. In addition, attention is paid to the defeat of the organization.
