Operando quantum sensing captures the nanoscale electrochemical evolution in batteries
oscillations upon DHX9 overexpression.Using a strictly cytoplasmatic DHX9 mutant, we determined that these effects are not dependent on its nuclear localization. On the other hand, DHX9 silencing induced the reverse effect on both SOCE and carbachol-induced calcium oscillations. Finally, we demonstrated that DHX9 regulates focal adhesion-associated Ca 2 signaling and cell migration. In summary, we identified DHX9 as a novel interactor of the SARAF-STIM1 complex and SOCE regulator that impacts cell migration.
