Research on Speech Specificity of High Depression Tendency under Cognitive Load
Individuals with depressive tendencies exhibit abnormal cognitive load phenomena, Previous studies have rarely investigated cognitive load from the perspective of speech feature analysis. To address this issue, this study proposes a method based on the psychological Stroop paradigm to analyze the differences in speech features between individuals with depression and a control group. Firstly, the experimental task design uses the Stroop paradigm process to establish a depression-prone speech corpus; then, statistical analysis methods are used to screen out significant acoustic features as effective detection and recognition; finally, a comparative analysis of the cognitive load results is conducted. The results indicate that there is a certain correlation between the acoustic features under the Stroop task and the degree of depressive tendency, which can be used as a speech feature detection task for identifying depressive tendencies.
