Analysis of size compliance in supplied female combat uniforms
This study aimed to, analyze differences between the standard dimension of female combat uniforms presented in national defense standards and the measured dimension the supplied products. Measurement items included 14 items for tops and 9 items for bottoms. As a result, the measurements of the tops indicated that the top length was longer while, all other items were smaller than the standard dimension. In the case of bottoms, most items were smaller than the standard dimension. However, accessories for the tops and bottoms were manufactured to the exact standard dimensions. Among supplied combat uniforms, 8 out of 14 for tops and 6 out of 9 for bottoms were outside the tolerance range. Therefore, a system capable of accurately managing the product through a professional inspection company is needed after producing combat uniforms. Furthermore, a technical package is required so that each manufacturer can produce the same sizes of combat uniforms.
