This study was conducted with the aim of investigating the pulsatility index of the uterine artery in pregnant women with spontaneous preterm labour. This study was a descriptive analytical study in which the statistical population was all pregnant women with spontaneous preterm labour at third trimester admitted to the Gynecology and Obstetrics Department of Imam Khomeini Hospital in Ahvaz. Data (age, BMI, gestational age at admission, gestational age at delivery, birthweight, smoking, history of pre-eclampsia) were collected and analysed using a checklist.
