EP23.57: Multi‐modality imaging diagnosis of peritoneal inclusion cysts: where lesion complexity may not be a cause of concern!

Peritoneal inclusion cysts [PIC] often present with varied imaging and is often confused with neoplastic ovarian lesions or other mimicking conditions. Due attention to key ultrasound, CT and MRI findings may allow early diagnosis and correct treatment with medications like gonadotropin-releasing hormone analogs and Tamoxifen. As surgery has a limited role in the management of this condition, correct diagnosis of PIC prevents unnecessary surgical interventions. Prompt and confident diagnosis of a PIC significantly relies on the correlation between imaging findings on ultrasound, CT and MRI and with the patient's clinical history and presentation. Abstract
