EP25.06: Two‐step approach to hysterosalpingo‐contrast sonography

To investigate the significance of two-step approach to hysterosalpingo-contrast sonography (HyCoSy) in testing tubal patency and uterine anomalies in patients with infertility. The use of a two-step HyCoSy technique with introduction of positive echo-contrast of low concentration makes enables to assess reliably fallopian tube patency, as well as with introduction of higher concentrations of SonoVue. Two-step HyCoSy approach helps to diagnose uterine pathology and anomalies, evaluate uterine scar after Caesarean section. Moreover, this technique with introduction of low concentrations of echo-positive contrast makes it possible to assess reliably fallopian tube patency, as well as when using higher concentrations of SonoVue. This method is diagnostically informative, cost-effective and technically simple.
