EP06.41: A comparative study of prenatal ultrasound diagnosis and postnatal pathology of fetal pulmonary dysplasia
To explore the clinical value of prenatal ultrasound in diagnosing abnormal fetal lung development. A retrospective analysis was conducted on 78 cases of fetal lung dysplasia, comparing the prenatal ultrasound diagnosis results with pathological findings after birth surgery. Among the 78 cases of fetal lung dysplasia, 27 cases were congenital cystic adenomatoid malformation (CCAM), including 5 cases of type I, 7 cases of type II, and 15 cases of type III. Pulmonary sequestration (PS) was found in 51 cases, including 30 cases of intralobar type, 15 cases of extralobar type, 5 cases of intradiaphragmatic type, and 1 case of intraabdominal type. The prenatal ultrasonic diagnosis was consistent with the postoperative pathological anatomy in 74 cases (concordance rate 94.8%), and the prenatal ultrasonic diagnosis was inconsistent with the postoperative pathological anatomy in 4 cases. Prenatal ultrasound has high accuracy in diagnosing abnormalities of fetal lung development, but there are difficulties in diagnosing some malformations and compound malformations.
